We represent a spiritual tradition that belongs to those rare
traditions that allow women to study, and necessarily account for
the specifics of the female psychology, female essence and female
nature. Our Tradition leads a pupil toward the meeting with oneself,
not with an abstract ideal of oneself, that bears very little
resemblance with a live human being. Maybe, because of this very
reason, we accumulated so much experience of relations with the world
and with ourselves. A lot of women took part in our work. And, as a
result, we have found certain principle that allowes to find specific
female's meanings, specific female's ways of life and try to realize
them in practice.
I want to stress the position of the Knowledge that we represent
toward the notion of male and female equality. We believe that
everyone has an equal right to be different, rather than the same.
From our point of view it is most important. Everyone has equal
right to be what he or she is. Men and women. And I am not talking
about social things. It is so great that there are so many of us, and
all are diverse, and in this diversity we are all alike. Everyone has
one's own uniqueness, one's own destiny, one's own chances, one's own
realized of failed plans and dreams. Everyone is free to do with one's
own life whatever one wants or desire. Everyone. Is. Free. And this is
where the equality among the women and equality between men and women
comes from.
In our world view, the very first divisions of the universal enery on
the most abstract level, the division that comes immediately after the
Absolute that is everything and nothing, is the division on the
masculine principle and feminine principle. And if it is
so, then these principles must permeate every aspect of human activity
- from a couple as a smallest unit of connection between masculine and
feminine, to the whole history of humanity. And when we recognized
this principles, when we saw how the interaction between masculine and
feminine occurs, many things in the life of a human, and in the life
of humanity became explicable.
The main quality of male energy lies is its tendency to converge
into a point. But the female energy is an open, limitless space, that
by itself does not possess either directions or boundaries. And all
the interactions between the masculine and the feminine are based on
those inherent qualities. In such interaction, whether they occur on
the small or the large scale, the cycles and the spirals are always
present. Each cycle follows the same pattern. The masculine principle
sets the direction, which is the origin of the chain of
interactions between the masculine and the feminine. The next,
feminine step is to grant the space, or, to deny the space.
Let us suppose that the space is granted. Then, the next masculine
step is to organize the space: either by planning or by setting
boundaries. Everything that is related to the organizational aspects,
limitations, planning, formalization is the function of the masculine
energy. The next step that is made by the woman in this already
organized space is to populate the space. Ability to the act of
populating is inherent to the nature of energy that is originated by
the feminine principle, fluid, permeatable, capable of fitting into to
the given structure and the given situation. Women are more conforming
and accomodating than the men are. We will see that our female
capacities are best used, when the point of female force application
is chosen correctly.
Only a man's action can halt the process of
populating the space. The masculine energy puts the dot, thus
locking the populated space. The "dot" is always the end. But
the feminine energy is inherently dynamic, therefore, any unexpected
dot, any dot that was not accepted by the feminine, calls for
an aggression, an anxiety, an avoidant behavior. But we have made a
small discovery, and, based on this discovery, we were able to see, to
to feel, to experience that the cycle does not end on this dot, that
there is always a hope for the further development. After the
masculine energy has interfered and has put the dot, there is one more
step in the cycle. There exists one more function of the feminine in
this relationship - assimilation of the dot. Otherwise, any
development of any relations or situations with woman's involvement
would have ended with the man's: "That's it! Your time's
up!" But, somehow, the development continues, somehow we realize
ourselves on the everyday life level, and this very level sometimes
presents us with deeper truth than intellectual endeavours of
philosophers, creating some abstract life models, and trying to fit
us, women, into them.
Pre-sensation of this law have been living in women since ansient
times, and we do not claim a role of pioneers, but we were able to recall
this law. The assimilation takes the very important place in
the relations between the masculine and the feminine at any level,
from the primodial encounter of the male and female energies to the
commonplace family conversation. It is the very place where the
creative potential of a woman is most important and most desired. And
after the assimilation, the new turn of the spiral begins - the man
sets the new direction. And this direction will surely depend on the
quality of our assimilation in the previous turn.
Let me remind you. The chain of events looks like this:
- The masculine: the direction, the organization, the dot
- The feminine: granting the space, populating the space,
assimilating the space
